Riding / FIELDNOTES

Electric unicycle adventures.

City rides on my Sherman Max, new routes, and seeing the streets a little differently.

My Sherman Max is another way to explore — open air, balance, and a different view of the city.

While I can, I ride.

Nothing lasts forever. For now, I’m enjoying the rides, the company, and every chance to get out there.

01 / NOTES & TOOLS

City cruising on my Sherman Max

I ride my Sherman Max through city streets, cruising around 30 mph in traffic. What draws me in is the balance and focus: reading the road, feeling each turn, and staying connected to the ride. Even a familiar street feels different on an electric unicycle.

02 / NOTES & TOOLS

City lights & evening rides

The city takes on a different character after sunset: illuminated streets, changing skies, and fellow riders lighting up the route.

03 / NOTES & TOOLS

Rock Creek Park ride

Autumn rides through Rock Creek Park, with winding roads, leaf-lined paths, and golden trees overhead. A mix of open views and following my co-rider through the changing colors.

04 / NOTES & TOOLS

Beyond the pavement

A different rhythm off the street: wooded trails, creek crossings, and rides with company. From smooth paths to winding dirt trails, each route brings a different feel to the ride.

05 / NOTES & TOOLS

Better with company

A lakeside group ride, with open views across the water and fellow electric unicycle riders sharing the path.
